Since there is no profile information or an about me section on the ASTD page I thought I would post my profile.

I do have 10+ years in training and development please let me know if I can help:

Besides founding CEO Crossing, I have started my own companies (Ethos Technology Services, Ethos Live, and Ethos Learning - I admit not very original on the business names), consulted on business start-ups, non-profit organizations, and have served on advisory boards. I have a passion for new ideas and connecting people with ideas and opportunity together.

Currently I work in the Market Research space responsible for business development, lead generation and account management at Hansa|GCR (formerly Gartner Custom Research). I have worked with some of the biggest names in the technology sector and on the fortune 100 list. Bringing extensive experience to GCR as a former sales director at GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), where I was responsible for the western region of the United States, including Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Western Canada. At GMI, I focused on managing existing customer relationships while fostering the adoption of GMI’s global market intelligence solutions at both market research firms and Global 2000 companies.

I have also served as senior account executive in charge of the development of information technology events and conferences for with Centric Events in Portland, Oregon. Prior to Centric, he worked as market training manager for CompUSA Computer Training, where I secured over $8.5 million in contracts with my team. I bring a background of sales and technology leadership to GCR, having held positions in event management, knowledge center development, and technology-based training organizations.

I sharpened my leadership strengths during military service in the United States Marine Corps.

I hold an Associate of Arts degree in Military Studies as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from George Fox University.
