Are there any conferences out there focused on the topic of social learning?

No, not only on social learning - at least I haven't seen any. But there are some that have social learning elements. I am speaking at the eLearning Guild's DevLearn in November. I have spoken a few other places this last year - they all claim to be focused on social learning, but what I find is that it is the tagline because it gets people to register. Instead, most of them have some social learning sessions included. But non I have seen are only social learning...

With one exception. The ELG's online forums webinar series (which I will also be speaking at) on September 18-19. That is totally focused on this, but it is a webinar series. Certainly not a bad start by any means. But it would be great to see one only on social learning, wouldn't it?

For all those readers out there - any one willing to take this up?

I am thinking it would be a good discussion topic at the next Barcamp in Portland, (http://barcamp.org/BarCampPortland), which is unfortunately not until next year. Or, better yet, to get a similar event like this going for those of us in the training and development community.
