How many of you have RSS readers? If you do, what kind do you use? I am wondering, because I use one for this site. Without it, I would never know what is happening on here - it would all seem like too large of a monster. I wouldn't know when someone posted a blog, a discussion, a video or a new page. And without that, the site is not worth much besides an occasional glance.

So, what type of RSS reader do you use, if you use one at all?

Good one. Another FF plugin RSS reader that I just discovered is WizzRSS [http://www.wizzrss.com/]. Very similar.

Kevin,

Add me to the Google Reader club as well. Without the tool, I don't know how I would manage the avalanche of information that comes in daily. I did notice Google offered a beta program called Google Gears that allows you to read information off-line but I haven't tried it yet.

Ya, I haven't tried it either, but I am going on a trip here in a couple weeks so I think I might try it.

Although 'BETA', everything (well, not really, but it seems like it) Google does is a perpetual beta. Makes sense when you really think about it.

I have one on my mac, but I don't really know how to use it. Is there an "In Plain English" on how to USE an RSS reader?

Sure is. It is more of a 'What is RSS' and a real light "How do you do it." It can be found in the Video section of this site: http://sociallearning.ning.com/video/video/show?id=1186303%3AVideo%...

This should give you a quick overview. Once you watch that and get it going, let us know if you need more help. We can walk you through getting it up and running.

Hi there.

I use the RSS reader that comes with Outlook 2007. I check it just as I check email that way. I have pretty simple requirements and it works for me.
